Dedicated to service, Key Club members joined with their Kiwanis sponsors in an annual fund-raising broom sale. Proceeds went toward financing civic projects of the parent organization. Key Club members also extended their service to Eastern’s campus. Volunteers directed traffic on Career’s Day and assisted at the December opening of the new gymnasium. Le Cercle Francais Accents Culture Riotous laughter and unusual music were heard coming from Room 65 early in the year as club members displayed their dancing talents to the tune of provincial French songs. Other culturally oriented activities during the year were a pleasant way to gain new insights into the “language of love’’.
