Council Officers Are Elected in May After a busy week of campaigning, Student Council officer elections took place on Friday, May 19. The trend toward close elections prevailed once again at Eastern with run-offs for two. offices, president and vice-president. Chris Stout was unapposed for secretary. Vicky Young won the treasurer’s position. The final tallies were not so close with Gary Dark winning president and Teresa Meredith, vice president.
