Post-holding A New Method in Social Studies The Social Studies Department is an important part of each student’s education. The Social Studies depart- ment provides a broad background for both college work and everyday living. . World History students were introduced to a new method of study this year called post-holding. This type study places emphasis upon the more interesting sections of the book. Students do individual research and try to obtain all the information possible on their subject of interest. The study of economics begins with the stock market when each student chooses and invests in his own stock.
