Sentor Class Tommy Way—President Don Herndon—Vice—President Carol Burgess—Secretary Jonelle Deaton—Treasurer We are the SENIORS; the sure ones, confident of ourselves and of our tomorrows. We are the builders of the future, of things soon to come, Ours is the rush to class, the clock—watching, the hurried lunch. We are the wild screamers at ballgames, and the calm assured ones at assemblies. We are the sighs of relief after exams, the tears and happiness of graduation. We are hesitant, yet we eagerly wait to try our wings at our newly found friend—independence. We are the friends and companions of today and the memories of tomorrow. We are looked up to; followed. We are the leaders; yet, we too, follow. We are the second counters; trying to do everything today in order to lighten life tomorrow. Ours is the giant leap into the future, ever seeking to fulfill to the utmost the word success. We shall go on and others will follow; but we won’t be forgotten, nor shall we forget!
