GQJS 0 '68 The members of the Board of Education, the faculty. and members of the staff, join me in extending our congratulations and best wishes to the graduates of the Class ofl968. This should be a proud occasion for each of you, in that you have attained one of your first major goals in life. How well you have done and how well you have used your preparatory years is your own personal evaluation. The first third of your live is spent in prepar- ing yourself for your life's vocation. Your future happiness and success are dependent upon your training. your abilities, and how well you like what you are doing. You must find the spot where you can do the most good for your home. your community, and your nation. Our best wishes go with you as you continue your . H G. B . . . . D' emy emu education and enter your chosen field in life. Your class is the 42nd class to finish their preparation in East Pittsburgh High. As you begin your career, members ofthe earlier classes are completing their life's work. You are needed to take their places and to assume the duties and responsibilities of citizenship. They have done their work well and your duty is to take up the torch and continue where they have left off. You are entering a world that is facing many difficulties and many trying times.
