of Years Gone By. On a sunny September morning in the year 1959 We entered E.P.H.S., young, a little shy, but determined to make ourselves known through our academic and so- cial activities. To help direct our class through the year we elected J. Schiffhauer as president, M. Remias as vice presidentg R. Naugle as secretary, and M. Boden as treasurer. As Freshmen, four years seemed like a long time, but as We look back it seems like only yes- terday. Senior high at last! This year our leaders were R. Sullivan as president, J. Schiffhauer as vice presi- dentg P. Holleran as secretary, and F. Botti as treas- urer. We all were proud of our class with many of us on the football and basketball squads, in the band, on the Green 81 White staff, and in the High School Cho- rus. Several of our girls became majorettes, twirlers, and cheerleaders. As the Wonderful year came to a close, We all looked forward to 'fthat fabulous Junior yearf, We were back in school once again and proud to be Juniors. R. Sullivan remained as president and P. Hol- leran remained as secretary. J. Holleran was elected vice president and M. Boden as treasurer. Everyone was anxious to receive his class rings and in February they arrived. 4'Tammy Tell Me Truen was selected as the Jr.-Sr. Play, and under the direction of Mrs. Helen Morgan, it turned out to be a great success. The active year came to a close with the Ir.-Sr. Prom held at the Adams House. Who can ever forget that famous Senior year? Once again R. Sullivan was our president and P. Holleran our secretary. D. Ryan was elected as vice president and F. Botti as treasurer. The selection of the yearbook staff and the preparation of the yearbook made everybody excited. At last our Senior pictures arrived and every- body Was pleased. The Jr.-Sr. Play, the May Crowning, and Prom approached us rapidly. Then came the great day of our lives-Graduation. As We fifty-one Seniors march slowly down the aisle with our green and white caps and gowns, We will always remember the countless number of happy times we shared at E.P.H.S.
