The signs are evident in constant improvements around the school. The library, band uniforms, driver education course, television facilities, and other educational aids have been obtained for us through their efforts. Many projects are novv in the planning stage that will be of great advantage to the student body. As seniors, we are aware of and are grateful for these benefits. ,vid School Secretary Mrs. Verda Spangler Burnett is a familiar face in our office. We have always been able to depend on her aid and advice. Miss Spang- ler received her education at Juniata College, Huntington, Pa. M37-LJ' Nl-by all Principal Mr. Cirota began teaching here in l935, and continually took on more and more tasks, such as serv- ing as faculty manager of athletics. In l95l he became acting princi- pal vvhile continuing his teaching duties in chemistry and physics. This culminated in his appointment as principal early this year. The Graduating Class of i955 appreciates the untiring efforts of Mr. Cirota during his four years of leadership.
