It seemed I had talked only to the boy n I thong ht I hould not sllght the g1rls any longer therefore I prt ol ded to fmd out the lrte t tl out th glrl Remember Pat Rex rode well she was the fu' t one I ornered and to my urpr1 e he lnformed me that sh was Just a plambookkes perfor one of the Army Captaln at Vwrlght F1eld I always knew she would end up doinl act ountlng or somethmg of the sort Mar ella Kelley astounded me by tell1ng me that she was usmg her tlme ln operatlng a beauty shoppe at Covmgton Also I should not forget that her three year old daughter was of great help to her She told me her husband s name but I had never had the honor of meetlng h1m I looked over at the b1g m1rror and who should be standmg there but Betsy Ferguson Yes you have gue sed It there she stood comblng her ha1r Her left hand showed up re markably well as there was the largest dlamond sol1ta1re I have ever seen and the weddlng rlng wa overflowmg w1th dlamonds I d1dn t even have to ask her who the lucky fellow was as I remembered the pretty red sweater she used to wear at P H S I was pleased to hear that she was l1v1ng on a farm keeplng house for her husband and her twms Ca boy and a g1rlD I thought to myself how charm1ng a housewlfe she would make By th1s t1me the mus1 was gomg full swmg and a very good piece was playmg Talklng about hubba hubba g1rls of 1946 there were Beverly and Donna Mae SW11'lg1I1g out as they used to do at Palestme After they had completed thelr danclng exh1b1t1on they came over to talk Guess what Donna Mae flnally settled down to Noel Marshall after breaklng many hearts Can you lmagme she has three llttle g1rls and each of them are majorettes for the school band About th1s t1me Beverly sald she thought Donna Mae had talked enough and she must tell me about her charmlng husband Debby She was one of the lucky Senlors who was a june brlde of 1946 Beverly told me of her two boys nne w1th blond ha1r and blue eyes and the other w1th black ha1r and brown eyes The boys help w1th the work on the1r 200 acre farm Talkmg about june wedd1ngs Betty Bruner remmded me of her belng the first of our class to t1e the knot Yes Lester and she were marrled the nlght before graduation and as the most of the class seem to follow they are farmers too They have only one chlld and he looks llke Betty Probably we should have made our class motto ' The prospectlve farmers of 1946 Glor1a havmg marrled George Llette was tell1ng me how she and George had kept up the old l lette homestead and now they are l1v1ng there And you would never guess who thelr closest nelghbor IS yes Mary Ayette IS l1v1ng close by and she 1S just as athletlc as ever he has been teachmg g1rls physlcal educatlon at the Dalestlne H1gh School She has a very sweet modern home and most of the lady teachers of P H S room there I an jones 1nformed me that she had a very short dlstance to come as she also 11VeS 1n Cm mnatx he has been a soc1al worker 1n the tovsm and she told me she had attended most of the boxmg bouts I was glad to hear that some of the class members had followed me I just wonder though lf she wasn t a llttle lnterested ln my manager as he has never marr1ed and Ioan d1dn t talk long as Rlchard was s1tt1ng on the dlvan waltlng to talk to her I notlced E elyn S was busy talklng to Damel and I wondered what all the lnterest was about And who s name d1d you thmk I heard mentloned?
