Evelyn Cherry SENIOR HCNOR STUDENTS It has been the custom in years past in East Palestine High School to pay cial honor to those students Who, through their four years of High School life, maintained a more than usual scholastic standing. A This year we feel that it is a fact worth noting that, for the first time in a ber of years, if not in the entire history of the High School, these honors for scholarship are to be awarded, not to the fairer sex, but to three promising young I 929 espee have nuln- high men. The highest honor for the class of 1929 has been attained by Edson Horsfall, to whom still greater commendation is due because of the fact that many other activities necessarily claimed his time outside of the regular school curriculum. This honor is one of the highest and most enviable that the High School confers upon her students. Albert Menke is the winner of second place. Albert has not only made the grade, as we say, but has also contributed his time and efforts in improving and bettering the school along various other lines. To Jacob Trobec, also, honorable mention is due. Everybody knows Jacob BSR quiet, unassuming chap, but one who has the power of success in his very hands. We wish especially to extend our best wishes for success to these, our honor students, and trust that they may be led into bigger and broader fields of opportunity.
