GALEN IONES -k Throughout our years in high school, we, of East Orange High School, have been priv- ileged to have had as our principal Dr. Galen jones, who, although reserved and dignified, took an active interest in the welfare of every student under his care, justly weighing the merits and the had qualities of a situation before making his decision. In appreciation of his ceaseless endeavors to make East Orange High School the hest all- around secondary school in the United States, which have heen nationally recognized hy his appointment as Director of the Division of Secondary Education of the United States Department of Education, we take pride in dedicating to hiin this 1946 SYLLABUS and we wish him Godspeed.
