They met several nights a week, and studied current events, sports, history, sci- ence, mathematics, and general in- formation. Debi Allman is pictured with her third place poetry trophy from Aurora. Debi also went to the District Tournament at Springfield and was ranked first in Dramatic Reading. From there she went to the State Contest and received a superior rating. Harry Styron was master of ceremony at the Christmas program. Debi Allman gave a dramatic interpretation The Little Match Girl. At the Christmas program. The one act play, The Birthday Present at the District Tourna- ment in Springfield a superior rating was given.
