3ovewovd In its four years of existence, East Montgoniery has grown not only in enrollment, but also in prestige and loyalty. Out of the rich and rewarding student life at East Montgomery grows a deep devotion for the school. Within a matter of days the freshman finds himself joyously engrossed in the pleasure of new-found friendships, the serious business of study, and a mad whirl of extra-curricular activities. Yet by the time he is a senior, there comes at last that quiet moment of reflection when the real meaning of high school is fully appreciated. We, the annual staff of 1964-65, hope to present to you a small glimpse of the phases of school life in which we have all participated. Some memories will be happy ones, while others may bring back heartaches. Through our classes, and newly-made friendships which will last for life, we have all come to realize the deep impression which this school will forever have upon us. We sincerely hope that as time carries our most precious mo ments into the past, this edition of the AQUILA will serve to recapture these moments and to help us relive them as if they were happening once again.
