l '1 Studem The Student Council is a leading organization in school with responsibility to students and faculty. The students who form the council are elected democratically by the student body. The 1962-63 Council has added iron gates to the school's main entrance and has presented a trophy case for the front hall. The Council has sponsored sock hops, worked at con- cession stands and gates during athletic events. They also accepted the responsibility of keeping order in the halls in the mornings and at the lunch hours. Council members consider it an honor to be elected to their positions of trust and spend much of their spare time in an effort to do their best for their school.
