Foreword Our first year at East Montgomery has come to a close. This year has been one filled with fun and sorrow, play and hard work. In THE AQUILA, we have tried to preserve some of the fond memories of this school year. East Montgomery is a very fine school and one that anyone should he proud to attend. The atmosphere, surroundings, and student enthusiasm have made this school one of high quality and character. It is our hope that the students of the years following will uphold and grow with the true character of East. It is our wish that they will enjoy the fond memories and the deep influence that we have felt. So, take this annual as a guide down memory lane of that wonderful year, 1962, at East Montgomery High School.
