High-Five. 11 DAZZLING DANCE TEAM The 1985-86 Lions Pride Dance Team began on April 25, 1985. It began in Stennis Hall with the selection of eight girls, who of- ficially started our duties July 5, 1985, on the campus of West Florida University at a four day Dance Camp. After camp we had the rest of the summer to prepare for an exciting year of dance. A lot of hard work and dedication is put into the Dance Team. A special thanks is offered to Mrs. Ann Bradberry, the sponsor. BAPTIST STUDENT UNION BSU is a religious organization open to all students at EMJC. It provides an opportunity for worship, Bible study, and spiritual growth. The Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the Gospel Choir are also part of the BSU. As the director of BSU, the Rev. Wayne Hatcher serves as the leader of the weekly devotional and is also available for counseling sessions. Each fall, the BSU hosts a campus wide Religious Emphasis Week. Approximately 70 students belong to the three facets of BSU whose student ministry is funded by the Kemper-Noxubee Association.
