510 , --β 1984 Dedication We would like to dedicate the 1984 LION to a man who makes a difference. He always tries for the best, yet goes unrewarded. He has problems of his own yet makes time for others. He doesn ' t always have to smile, but he always does. A teacher, advisor, a father, but most im- portant a friend. We all have memories of our childhood, that first day of shool, a helping hand from your favorite teacher in time of need, that special someone you spent time with, that friend you screamed at one minute and hugged the next. Soon College will become a memory β a vivid and powerful memory that encompasses a world of feelings. The friends, the games, the parties, the classes, the hours of practice, the victories, the defeats, all blend together to form memories of our college years. How open do we say cant wait till summer, cant wait till graduation β and all of a sudden the time is here and passed and you wonder how the year went by so fast. So be still, take the time to enjoy each precious moment, and make this time together a special memory to be recalled with joy and laughter. 94 To The Students: We hope we have captured at least some of the memories of the 1983-84 school year for you. Due to unexplained circumstances we were unable to get a lot of pictures and do a better job of your yearbook. We hope you understand and enjoy the few memories that we did catch β we also hope that in future years you can at least look back and enjoy the memories and friends that we have captured in the 1983-84 yearbook. Sincerely Yours, The Annual Staff. 95 9- ' EASTMISSTjlCCOLLEGE LIBRARY y ! I β β
