MR. WARREN SWOOPE The fall of 1959 brought back to East Mississippi Junior Col- lege, Warren Swoope, who began his path to maturity here at this very institution. Since he has returned to our school, he has daily grown in the esteem of the students. He has come to hold the respect and affection of our athletes and to have the appreciation of our wonderful head coach, Bob Sullivan, wh o feels his confidence in him to be well placed. In his capacity as teacher, as dormitory manager, as coach, and as friend, the students find in him the attributes which qual- ify him to be honored by them. Therefore, we, the Staff of th 1962 LION yearbook of East Mississippi Junior College, dedicate this annual to Mr. Warren Swoope.
