Besides doing an ex- cellent job of leading the band, Tom is in the glee club, plays a fine trum- pet, and has taken an active part in dramatics. Head Majorette MARLENE DAVIS Marlene is an attractive and popular junior from Scooba. Having served two years in the drill squad, Marlene stepped into the job of band major- ette. She did an excellent job and we hope to see her back next year. MR. GENE CRAGO, our new band di- rector, has greatly improved our music department. Besides having organized several musical groups, he has made our band an excellent marching and concert band.
