One of the highlights of Spirit Week and Homecoming season is the Fall Pep Rally, one of two such events held each year at East Meadow H.S. It is a time when classes are shortened and students have a break from the normal school day routine. The Cheerleaders and the Rockettes each put on a superb performance, showing off their respective talents. The Marching Band provides a feral background beat to stir up the latent school pride that resides in each of us. Then come the athletes, the representatives of the various sports, who are received with thunderous applause by the cheering student body. The Pep Rally is one of the most exciting events of the school year.
