HANGING OUT Everyone hangs out, but students are the ex- perts when it comes to finding a comfortable spot where they can be themselves, awav from the prying eyes of parents and teachers. They always find comfortable little hangouts around tne school and claim them as their own. One of the most popular places is the cafeteria. Students go there when they are hungry or just want to lounge around. Another popular spot is the library. The library is a great spot to finish the assignments that were supposed to be done at home. Another great hang-out-place is the classroom before and after the teacher begins class. These are just a few of the great places that students can let it all hang loose. Two other all- time favorites hang-outs are the Senior Alcove and the Bus Entrance. 16 Hanging Out (Top Left) Doug Solow. Duke Reynolds. That's where the day begins and ends. They serve as storage spots for all our junk. Also, they are convenient meeting places. When you really have to tell someone something, you put a note in the appropriate locker. Of course, not all of our lockers are where they are supposed to be. As in the case of all real estate, everyone wants one in a centralized location. Some individuals have two or three lockers. At times, this can be confusing and they can walk around for days wondering where their books are. Many lockers are customized. A customized locker makes its owner feel more at home. Pictures and mirrors are just some of the things found in them and represent the owner's personality. A locker is a student's home away from home!! Lockers 17
