fundraising is one of the major activities of practically every club in €ost Meadow High School. The money raised can be used to support various student projects. The items sold vary. Most often the clubs sell candy, for these are sure-fire winners. Practically everybody has a sweet tooth, and at fifty cents a box. M iM's are a bargain to a hungry student. fls the year progresses, clubs turn to other fundraisers. One club will sell a pocket calendar.- another will sell candles for the holidays. Jr. Prom Proms toke up o lot of time. First the committee has to be chosen. They hove to choose the holl and whot arguments that con couse. I ujont Leonard’s of Great Neck. My sister got married there. That's too expensive! Do you think we’re millionaires? Somebody else chimes in. How about the Salisbury Inn? The doss of 86 finally chose The Moriott Hotel in Uniondole. The dote was Flpril 20. 1985. There was still lots to do. That special dress still hod to be pur- chased along with the accessories, the tux..., the limo .... the corsage . . . Hey. I forgot.
