fundraising is one of the major activities of practically every club in €ost Meadow High School. The money raised can be used to support various student projects. The items sold vary. Most often the clubs sell candy, for these are sure-fire winners. Practically everybody has a sweet tooth, and at fifty cents a box. M iM's are a bargain to a hungry student. fls the year progresses, clubs turn to other fundraisers. One club will sell a pocket calendar.- another will sell candles for the holidays. HRUOW€€N 23 One of CMHS's most veneroble trodltlons Is the Halloween Donee which this year was held on November 2. in the gymnasium. The donee was hosted by the Senior Class and the members of the Key Club. The gathering was truly rep esenta- tive of monsterdom: clowns, nerds, bobies. French maids, ghouls, goblins ond practically everything else showed up for the donee. Probably the SRT's w' iich were held that morning put everyor e in the mood for the dance.

But in those forty one minutes, we tried to hit oil the local places: Floy's. ILIhite Costle, Mickey D’s, Mr. Do- nut, ond the ever popular Pizza King. Then we tried to get bock to doss, let's hope the cor doesn't break down. Mr. Krous, you'll nev- er believe whot happened on the way bock from lunch. Veoh, I thought you wouldn't.
