Upon the return to school in Sep- tember, the varsity cross country team began practice. With a successful group of seniors led by Dennis Breitner, Jerry Gorelick, Barry Davidson, and Larry Diet- rich, the Jets completed a season of which they can be proud. Led by the excellent marksmanship of seniors Jeff Ashendorf, Paul Smith, and Bob Marcus, this year's rifle team has been the first to occupy a spotlight during the winter season. Straight shooters always win. Varsity Shooters sweep 6 out of 12.
