It was early September, and the R6sum6 editors were meeting for the first time. “We need a theme. . . . Who has any ideas? No, we used that three years ago. . . . What kind of edi- tors? . . . What about the dedication? . . . Sh-h-h, it’s a secret. . . .” The months passed, and it was February with a deadline to meet. Could we do it? “We’re missing three identifications. . . . Who stole the Junior homerooms? . . . In whose locker!? ... I don’t like that page, change it....” And now it is June and the pictures we never thought would fit on the page, the captions writ- ten and rewritten, the great mass of loose papers have materialized into Resume 1966. His talent and dedication as an art teacher are missed by his students and colleagues, but we, the staff of Resume, who worked so closely with him, will prob- ably sense his absence the most. His many contributions and suggestions remain with us and they have been iri- corporated in the formation of Resume '66. We hope this is a book of which he would have been proud.
