1945 THE REFLECTOR To Miss Helman, we leave a pack of needles that were never returned. To Mrs. Hoppes, we leave our battered, broken-down, well-used typewriters and all the words we didn't pick up in shorthand. To Miss Boyle, we leave a large French class that really wants to learn. To Miss Becker, we leave all the Lily Pons' and Lawrence Tibbets' of the future. To Mr. Shovlin, we leave our old essays, editorials, and our own words such as ain't, huh, and yeh, also a new joke book. To Miss Rogers, we leave the future Harry James' and Dorseys', also all the notes that were dropped and are floating around the bandroom. To Mrs. Cresswell, we leave all our excuses from gym classes so that she can look for them in the future. To Mr. Zaengle, we leave all the broken test tubes and odors of the laboratory. also our chemistry books that we never did want. To Mr. Prutzman, we leave future students who will not argue and sleep in his math classes. - To Mr. Mauger, we leave all the unfinished articles we began so eagerly in shop but never completed. To Mrs. Mauger, we leave our old newspaper reports and P.D. books that are still in good condition because of the little use we made of them. Also the corny jokes we made in her class. To Miss Oldfield, we leave a homeroom that is quiet and will help her decorate the bulletin board. To Miss Durnin, we leave a box of bandage, adhesive tape, iodine, and aspirins which she used to soothe our many aches and pains. To .Mrs. Trainer, we leave a quiet study hall to replace our noisy one. To Mr. Morris, we leave a more quiet student body, perfect reports, and all our excuses and alibis for being absent or late so that he can watch for them in the near future. To Miss Cossman, we leave a new typewriter ribbon to replace the one she wore out typing our tardy and absentee slips. ' .
