Ever faithful, the cheerleaders were present at all basketball games, doing their bit to help win. They deserve thanks and praise for the splendid part they play- ed in keeping up the morale of the team as Well as that of the fans. Heading for another championship, the team suffered several misfortunes which put it out of the running. However, through determination and excellent coaching, it managed to win half of the games played. The team won eleven games and lost twelve: scoring 698 points to their oppon- ents 745. The Maroon and VV'hite Yearlings made a line record in basketball this year. Their performance has raised championship hopes tor the future in East Chunk. Cut of twenty-three games played the team won sixteen and lost seven. Three of which were league games. The team scored a total of 610 points to 524 of their opponents.
