COKE IS IT! Who’s the man in school with the plaid pants? Who’s the one eating the oily apples? Who’s the jogger and basketball player we see running after school or on weekends? Who’s the guy that loves to check the backs of doors looking for the Tex- ans? Although he graduated long ago, Mr. Cokkinias is still very much a member of each graduating class from East Longmeadow High School. This is especially true for the class of ' 83. He has be- come a true friend of the class while maintaining a firm authoritarian control over it. With his help, he has encouraged many of our classmates in various ways. He has watched us slide once or twice, and pointed out our errors, still we appreci- ate his style; he is very much a teen-ager at heart, for he understands what growing up is all about. For these reasons, the class of ' 83 dedicates this year ' s Aegis to Mr. James Cokkinias. We ap- preciate his help and enjoy his friendship.

WHERE THE SHOE FITS Paws off Bub!! Hey man, stop treading on my thoughts. I just can’t tell if it ' s “man or “beast The hypnotic typist If the shoe fits . . . wear it. In room 204, that is easier said than done. For in this famous yearbook homeroom, there are found a variety of styles, shapes, and sizes. There was Brad, who wore out more shoes than any- one, Rosanna, who pirouetted in her soft leathers, Cathy in her sloppy sneakers, Pete in his rugby shoes, Beth, who had happy feet, Ellen, whose feet everyone loved, Nee-Nee, who wore the tightest shoes, John, who photographed everyone ' s shoes, and Patti, who used h er fingers instead of her feet. Leading this band of merry cobblers was Curly, Dew, Spike, and Tiny Tim. The underclassmen hush puppies aided in tieing the final string. I ' m gonna make tracks soon!
