Many of us remember Diana: others never knew her. Those of us who do recall her remem- ber a sweet, quiet red-haired girl. To me, she was a good friend: we went from baby dolls to Barbie dolls together, and shared the gossip of other neighborhood kids. In Junior High, we both learned of cancer-and death. We never made it to High School together. Few ever had the chance to know Diana as I had and what she was capable of doing for others by giv- ing of herself. I remember and I knew a part of her. Diana was taken into the hands of another but she still remains within me always. We all know that this world needs more people like Diana Lofgren.
