Talbott. offer goyers effer 7 eason Hampered by rain most of the season, the ELHS golf squad had a moderate season of three wins and three defeats, while placing fifth in the District Tournament. The Potters had a tremendous beginning by defeating a strong Steubenville Central team and a Hne Wfierton team by large scoresg however, they lost a close match to Central on their own course. A duel match Was next played at St. Clairsville against St. Clairsville and Steubenville Big Red. The Potters lost both matches, but by close scores. Returning two days later to St. Clairsville, the ELHS golf team placed fifth out of twelve teams Dfirtic-iriat'ng in the District Tourna- ment. Rounding out the season, the Potters traveled to XVeirton and defeated them once again. The team was led by Captain Dave Sixt. Returning lettermen are Dave Sixt, Craig Burbick, and Bob Beatty.
