These conferences gave members a chance to learn the mechanics ot the book and the association with other students created new ideas. Letters were presented to senior mem- bers ot the statt who were either heads ot de- partments or had served tor three years. Positions on the statt not only created an op- portunity to learn how to accept responsibility but also proved an experience long to be re- membered.
