Eleven got ISU inches published to become candidates for Fourth Estate Club, the hon- orary group. Prizes were won by 1. Como and j. Kapp in writing, W. McWhorter in cartooning, and 1. Calhoun in photography. Clever columns by Liverpool Lil lHelen Couchl and Newsy Nan ljoan Taylorl made K E's dis- appear like magic every other Friday. John Como, editor-in-chief Three years ago the K E became a small printed tour column news- paper. Printing and engraving costs plus lack of ad space kept them in the red for two years, this year, however, the editor found a nearby printer who would give them a fine, five column, tabloid sheet for an equal price. This gave Ron Bush, the fine ad manager, the needed space for ads without crowding the editorial material, and although fubscriptions fell some due to poor times, K E came out in the clear.
