We, the editors and the annual staff, would like to dedicate the 85-86 Retrospect- to Ms. Phyllis Henline. For the past 19 years Ms. Henline has given her time 6' talents to produce the Retrospect for East and we feel that its high time that she gets the recognition she deserves. We, the Annual Staff editors, would like to thank the 85-86 Annual Staff for their support and hard work throughout the year I t was deeply appreciated. We enjoyed working with and getting to know each mem- ber We feel as though each member has his own special ability in creating new ideas and improving the annual. We hope that we have served both the school and staff to the best of our abilities. We wish the best of luck for the seniors in their new lives and for the juniors, success with next years annual. We know the hard job ahead of the editor and staff of next year s book, but we also know that it will be made much easier and more fun because Ms. Henline will always be there to urge you on-with kind words and some not so kind. We'll miss you and We Love You! fue, , new Colophon The 1986 RETROSPECT Volume 19, was printed by Delmar Publishing Company, Charlotte, North Carolina. The a 9 x 12 format and contains 224 pages. It is printed on 111 gloss enamel paper with parchment white printed in black ink. The cover is stock embossed on Roxite Vellum 56547 turquoise, Spanish grain H1820 applied colon AC-9 silver The book had a press run of 500 copies. All copy is set in Palantino Italic type. Head- set in 30 point type, body copy in 12 point, captions in 9 point, and the opening section in 18 point. flat of full color was used on pages 2-3, 6-Z 10-11, and 14-15g another on pages 18-19g 22-23, 26-271 and 30-31. All student portraits were made by Harold Lackey, The Studio, Denven N.C. Organizations, team pictures, and most other photo- graphs were made by Harold Lackey, Photography Instructor Alan class students, and Devine and Kris staff.
