Sereena Caudill, Senior Cosmetology is no longer of- fered at East Lincoln High School. The students who wish to partici- pate are provided transportation to Lincolnton High School where they are instructed by Sandy Taylor Seniors spend three hours each morning taking instruction and honing their skills. juniors work two hours each afternoon. After graduation, these students need only take the state board to practice. 57

The members are taught a variety of youth concerns, includ- ing nutrition, fitness, teen pregnan- cies, strengthening the family, working with children and the el- derly, and career exploration. East has thirty-eight FHA mem- bers under the supervision of Mrs. Carolyn Thackston. These members are developing new friendships and having fun while teaching people about nutrition and other family concerns.
