Mustangs march into 1986 The 1985-86 Mustang Band once again upheld its well-earned reputation. Being known as a high-spirited and entertaining group, the Mustangs came through another successful season with flying colors. Although not every contest was a victory, the pride and enthusiasm still shined during every performance. This years show incorportaed a variety of music. The musical selec- fag tions ranged from classical to patriotic. A great deal of time was put into so the perfection of each song. Theselections consisted of Third Suite, A .. Celeto Lindo, Elks Parade, I Know I'll Never Love This Way ' Again, and Stars and Stripes Forever The size of the band increased greatly, making it the largest band in Lincoln County. Stretching from endzone to endzone, the show was difficult to maneuven but to its audiences it was a delight to watch. The band season was long and difficult. They engaged in several competitions. Their most exciting performance will be in the spring when they travel to Florida to perform in the National DeSoto Festival.
