A-Q The Class of 1986 needs no image adjustment! Because of early deadlines that the annual staff must meet, the current senior class never gets a picture in their senior yearbook. The staff is determined to put an end to this practice. That's why we put you in an '86 formation and had M n Hoyle risk his life on the perch to take this picture. So you're not wearing the traditional caps and gowns. Who cares? Maybe we'll do that next year! f . , K .. - W 1 t . s ., . - SQ-.sfri 81 MMV -X ., . Farewell We the class of 1986 hold in our hands a new beginning: a meaning for life. We are the leaders of tomorrow ar.. to the future that will unlock the doors to knowledge. We are the parents of tomorrow's children and the chili, today's parents. We believe in the same things that our fathers did. We live not for ourselves but for tomorrow's childrer and yesterday's children. Now that we have completed the first stage of life, we find we are left to face the unfinished roads which lie ahead of us. We know that along the way we will make mista. i learn from them and better ourselves just as our fathers did. We should take pride in knowing we have achievea g. . fri the past at East Lincoln High School and be grateful for the opportunity to do so. We will not forget our friends, teach and parents who have helped us reach this stage of life. We will remember always in our hearts the loved ones who, js. reason, could not be with us in this time of glory and for them the ones we leave behind, we will remember the gout. not the bad, and carry on the tradition of life. 15

alioe in the hearts ofthe young and old This past August, Tucker 's Grove Campground celebrated its 109th year of worship. The campground meeting is sponsored by six area churches and attracts worshippers from as far away as Boston and New York. Camp meeting began here in 1876 when a farmen Clay Tucken donated five acreas of land as a permanent site for the camp- ground. Its history has not been simple. The campsite has sur- oivedfires, rain, and two polio epidemics in the 1940's. It still has the original steeple and posts in the arbon and the worship center is still located in the middle ofthe 100 tent campground. Trying out the night are Lisa Ward and Ashley Struwser Marie, Tanya, and Melodie: The Supremes Life at the Sherrill's Tent. Nina Beal is all dressed up and no where to go
