BIOGRAPHY OF CLASS OF 1938 1934— To lead us through our first year in the new world, high school, Clyde Kirchhoff was chosen president; Mary Ann Reynolds, vice-president; and Lorraine Popp, secretary-treasurer. We had a very large enrollment, approximately twice as many as the graduating class. 1935— This year we were better prepared to combat the pitfalls, and better able to enjoy the pleasures of high school. Clyde Kirchhoff was again chosen as president, and his corps of officers included: Gladys Rasmussen, Mary Ann Reynolds, and Vernon Laufer. The entire school enjoyed the annual Christmas party sponsored by us sophs . 1936— The junior play, Cinderella of Loreland , was presented two nights before full houses, a successful experiment. The proceeds of the play were used for the Junior-Senior prom, a formal garden. The class officers were: Vernon Green, president; Robert Nelson, vice-president; Lorraine Popp, secretary; and Florence Hackett, treasurer. Many of the juniors engaged in extra-curricular activities to round out a perfect year. 1937— We came to the beginning of that last mile. Our senior production Tiger House proved successful to the audience, actors, and director. Most of the varsity teams consisted mainly of seniors. Our officers were: Vernon Green, Robert Nelson, Anne Cullerton. and Florence Hackett. With June 8 came graduation and new worlds to conquer. We hope we will have as much pleasure conquering these new worlds as we had the last! CLASS SPONSORS H. Miller W. Steel V. Green R. Nelson SENIORS RUTH AMLING French Medal. Quill Scroll. G. A. A..
