CLASS OF The freshmen entered Leyden with the distinction of ! c-ing the largest class ever to he enrolled. The following class officers were elected: Dana Debus, president; Helen Nelson, vice-president; Klla Madsen, secretary; and Thomas Vavra. treasurer. The freshman class was well represented in musical activities. The fact is shown, in that nineteen freshmen were 19 4 0 in the orchestra, twenty in the hand, and sixty-one in the glee cluh. Kxcepting one member, the whole debate club was made up of freshmen.
