the afternoon the class of 1929 presented therr class day exercrses The class was approprrately dressed rn scarlet nd whrte the cla s colors An announcement of the events of the afternoon was made by Audre Lambert class presrdent The frrst thrng on the program was the salutatory address grven by Irene Grertz Next came the class hrstory cleverly wrrtten rn the form of a scenarro by Gwendolyn Srebold Donald Hendrrcksen then made the athletrc banner presentatron On thrs scarlet and whrte emblem are the names of the boys playmg on the Senror team the team whrch won the rnter class tournament A group of popular numbers was played by fue Senror musrcrans Follow rng thrs the class prophecy was presented by Lloyd Brekke and Emd Phrllrps The school key whrch rs presented to the Jun rors by the graduatrng class each year was offered by Beatrrce Grrgsby and was accepted by Walter Drogemul ler the Junror class presrdent The boys quartette then sang The benrors Farewell by Adams The Class Wrll w s read bx Acton Mclwett and followed by the Class Grft by Audre Lambert Thrs grft was a prcture entrtled In Holland Vt aters by Clay The class also left a sum 01 money wrth whrch a large bulletrn board for the cor rrdor rs to be purchased The valedrctory was delrvered by Gwendolyn Qrebold The class song Boostrng Our Old Hrgh was srmg and then the report cards, scholar shrp awards and athletrc
