AND MISS EAST LAURHSIS HIGH Iris Keene Pert and petite Iris Keene was chosen to represent the inspirational Miss East Laurens High of 1966. The blond, blue- eyed, academic-minded lassie is the youngest of four children of Mr. and Mrs. E. G. Keene. Iris has attended school in the East Laurens Community since her entry in the first grade. Her enthusiasm for sports, her love of academic perfection, and her Willing ness to Work cooperatively with her class- mates have won esteem for her from teachers and fellow classmates. J erry C alhoun jerry Calhoun, the sparkplug of the East Laurens Basketball Team and the defensive Wizard of the Rams, is the 1966 Mr. East Laurens High. jerry, the son of Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Calhoun, has two sisters, Christie and Melody, and one brother, Ted. Besides his great love for sports partici pation, jerry has a vital interest in his studies of American Governmentg but his Spanish is in the No speaka de Spanish category .
