We, the Gusher Staff, spent our entire school year at the front hurdling obstacles from the beginning. We were subjected to shellings, bombard- ments, and snipers from all sides at all times. Regardless of the stiff opposi- tion, barbed wire entanglements, and absenteeism, we obeyed the final command, over the top. Though the never ceasing efforts of Mrs, Pinkston and the Gusher Staff, we wound up our battle with a Gusher. Before we leave for our furlough, we take this opportunity to express our hope that you enjoy The Gusher of l943.
