Many have earned money so they could extend their learning abilities in countries other than their own. To learn the customs and ways of people in countries around the world is a challenge these people have accepted as their own. These exciting individuals are Eva Bornefalk lSwedenl, Snezana Pavicevic lYugoslavial, Gunnar Liminga lSwedenl, Fumiko Ochi lJapanl, Per Magnusson lSwedenl, Olaf Margott lGermanyl, and Kim Holcroft lAustraliai. lAl FOREIGN EXCHANGE STUDENTS: Klm Holcroft, Snezana Pavicevic, Eva Bornefalk, Olaf Margott, lBJ Fumiko Ochl, Gunnar Liminga, Per Magnusson. International Club Active The International Club learns about dif- ferent countries, their customs, and how they compare to the United States. Foreign exchange students are a big part of this club. Because of their speeches and slide presentations, club members can learn about these countries directly from people who live there. KAI 1982-83 Shakespeare Club. QBJ Fun on a Shakespeare trip. lCl1982-83 Latin Club. 5: ' f V' I . fi , 'A r Shakespeare Club on Move lt was another great year for the Shakespeare Club. lt included two trips to Stratford, Canada, one in October and one in May. The per- formances seen this year were Merry Wives of Windsor and Macbeth, Next year the club wants to go to London, Ontario's Grand Theatre Co. This will give the club more plays to pick from. The trip funds were raised by sell- ing spirit key chains, garters, and Christmas ornaments. Latin Club The Latin Club, though not very big, had a semi-busy year. There were nine members, including Tony Bielecki as the club Presi- dent, Tonja Wepman as the Vice- president, Mary Olszewski as the treasurer, and Andrea Wingier serving as secretary. These nine members sponsored popcorn sales in the foyer during lunch and they also prepared themselves a Roman Brunch. The club is still in the process of making a smaller chariot for future parades. The Latin Club sponsor, Mr. Jack Walburg, said the students really jumped into everything with enthusiasm! Activities 35
