March 12, l9h8 our class with the help of the Glee Club, staged a Variety Program, the proceeds went to buy the voice recorder for the school Our Sophmore play took place on May 12, l9h8 was 'APair of Country Kids This year the Queen of the Homecoming Game was choosen from our class It was Esther Zitka also the Queen of the Fiesta, Glenda Maxwell The girls basketball team class had the honor of winnlng this cup in our possession for some of our best loud mouths School with a Class Party held Once again we trudve back remember all we have forgotten von every game th1s year Our the Yelllng Cup also We held two years After that we lost So ends our second year in High 1D the Gym to school ln September trylng to during the summer vacation Our class advisor thls year was Mr Daniel Devine, our class presldent, Keith Vance We realized now that our time was comlng closer to grad uating and we still haven't advanced very far, so on Friday, November 5 19 8 we opened up the doors of the Gym to the annual Penny rair This was a big success and we all went home that night with hearts free and happy All except Mr Devine thought he was a nervous wreck Wedndsday Aprll 6 19 9, and April 7 l9h9 the curtains were opened to our Junior Play 'The Angell Brats Friday March ll, l9h9 we sponsored a Hard Tlmes Dance This year it was our turn to give the Seniors their B Banquet and Prom ThlS was held on Saturday May 7 19 9 The King and Queen of the Fiesta were choosen from our class again, Shirley Babel and Jim With lots of hard work behind some fun so we ended up the school at Green River on June 1 19 9 Back to school this year with mlnds, Graduation, but what fun we up to thls eventful day Nachazel us we deceided year by having we needed a class party one thought in had during the our intelligent year leading Thls year we inherited all the Pep Club activities, so we were kept pretty busy with dances after games and all sorts of concesslons Thls was our main activity in which we were able to add to our flnal earnings Other activities thls year were, Friday November 18, 19 9 we gave the annual Sadie Hawklns Dance The Senlor Play 'Aunty Big Joke' took place on Thursday December 15 19 9 On Friday April 28, 1950 the Knapp Family entertained us At last we decided on our Class Trip On May 15, 1950 we left East Jordan 1n a bus and started on our way to Niagara Falls taklng a boat from Detroit So at long last, with fifty two of us left out of seventy two we wind up the last few days of our hlgh school years Bac calaureate held on Sunday evenlng May 28, Class nlght May 29, and Graduation May 31, 1950 O I It .N O I ' ' 0 .
