Although the Bulldogs failed to win a game, valuable experience was gained by these younger boys. However, the Bulldogs did play a very good game against Trafford where the score was only 6-0 in favor of Trafford after three periods of play. The final score was 12-0. Also, West Newton, the final game of the season, was a heartbreaker. West Newton scored its first touchdown with only 26 seconds left in the first half. The Hornets did not score their next two T. D.'s until the final two and one half minutes of the game. With a close look at the line-up, you can see that the Bulldogs, with the ex- ception of four seniors, will have the same team back next year. Hayden. glide fga Summafg This year was the first year for Mr. Bonvenuto at the helm of the East Hunt- ingdon cage quintet. As the season got underway, the Bulldogs showed signs of being a contender for the section title. But just before the first league game, our high-scoring forward, Steve Anthony, became ill. Now, with the Bulldogs lacking a solid scoring punch, we began losing games. As if that w'asn't enough bad luck, with only three games left we lost our coach as a result of illness.
