1899 1949 President Tom Peterson Vice President Joan Anderson The Junior Class of 1949 have proved them- selves to be an ambitious and enthusiastic group. Last year they came into their own as sopho- mores. Their big social event then was the Val- entine party. Near the end of the year they took part in the operetta, Oh Doctor. Several sophomores had major parts in this and many served as chorus members. As Juniors they have set a fast pace. This class is well represented both on the gridiron and basketball court. They have three members on the cheerleading squad. Their Class Play, Mrs Plaster of Paris, was a great success. The cli- max of their Junior year comes with the Prom given in honor of the Seniors. Now they are looking ahead to a bright fu- ture next year with new thrills, dances in their honor, and their long-awaited graduation. 22 Junior Officers with Mrs. Waldron, Mr. Hough, and Mr. McGrane.
