The injury proved to be fatal, and thc balance of the football schedule was cancelled. The basket ball season cannot be considered as a very succm-SSful one although a wealth of experience was derived by our boys. Except for one letter-man back from last YOZIIJS team, all the material available was green. and it was a matt'-1 of developing the yearlines for futuie use. The jinx followed our team in basket ball. Our captain. Steve Popovec, sustained a shoulder injury last year in one of the games that was the cause of' withholding him from the early games, :x well as at the finish of the season.
