$9in f3 0 DEDICATION C. Ivar Haglund With gratitude and respect we, the class of 1949, dedicate this Wa Wa Ta to Mr. Ivar Haglund who has been a member of the East High School faculty since September 1940. As the instructor of biology, the students remember him as an inspiring and excellent teacher. As the dean of boys, many will recall his sympathetic understanding and sound advice. In both these capacities his sparkling Wit and wholesome philosophy of living have endeared him to all students. The Wa Wa Ta Staff greatly appreciates the many hours he has so will- ingly spent at home preparing the numerous pictures for this thirty-eighth volume of the Wa Wa Ta. East High students are indeed veryifortunate to have the privilege of working under the splendid leadership of Mr. Haglund. i me-wb ZZoWu-qdm; fmwgb
