The members include all students taking second year Latin and also those who have completed the two year course from Miss Reine- mund, the adviser. The purpose of the Latin Club is not only to promote interest in Latin, but to learn more about the life of the Romans. We have, therefore, on the first Friday of each month, devoted our class period to reports conceniing this project. The club has also subscribed to an interesting bi-monthly Latin magazine, entitled the Auxilium Latium. Our activities for the year included the election of class officers, 3. Thanksgiving Supper, a Christmas Party, a pep assembly, and a Valentine party We have gained and enjoyed much as member of the Latin Club of 1948- 1949. uRespise, alspice, prospice. S. Wohlwend, D.
