SWJWMM lem 2 ,JV You know its J cest feeling in the world when someone hands you a whit envelope which you recognlze as a bld to the Booster s You know then that you re 1n for a rollicking good time during your Junior and Senior years You ll even endure an initiation what an excltlng 1n1t1at1on' They xnx 1te you to lunch feed you raw liver make you as homely as they can and put you through a somcrsault routme ln school It s worth it though and you always know that the next year you can torture a new group Ah yes then comes the football season and trimming the goal posts You keep wishing that you were an inch or so taller so that you could wind the school colors a little bit higher Some how you always manage to struggle to the top of the posts Oh and then there s the Booster s Sweater Dance it was the first dance of the year too leave lt to the Boost rs o on records of course and there was plenty of choice But decorating goal posts and giving a dance 1sn t all that we have done Oh no what about the slelghrlde and the par ty after'7 Not very many stayed in the sleigh but everybody stay c,l to the party We had a big house all to ourselves the 24 of us And then of course there have been tieater parties bowl mg parties skating parties and all the kinds of parties that six teen feeble minds could think of Oh and we got those darling sweaters too with white B monograms Everybody knows just who s in the Booster s when thev see them ln their white sweaters and red skirts They were all so sad when our adviser Miss Yeakey left us for a man but Mr Mlnguey makes a swell stand in Our officers are super Annette Abbie McFarl1n IS our president and wow what a president' Romelle Thlele is vice president Elaine Emanuelson secretary and Pat Harrington IS the one who hounds us for our dues Ult6 a bunch those Booster 36 www Boosters Club 29 'lf ' 9 l start something.
