Pepsters Stimulate Success 0 Dressed as cheerleaders, East High faculty members William Love, Paul Morgan, Dave Natvig and Harold Weber help generate enthusiasm dur- ing a pep auditorium. I The six varsity cheerleaders have played a big part in East's most suc- cessful year in athletics. Leading the students in singing the school song are cheerleaders Margaret Teisinger, cap- tain, Paulo DeBerg, Janis Schoenhard, Shirley Harkin, Annette Higdon and Sheila Anderson. The six orange girls provide pep and color with their bright orange uniforms and precision ges- tures. They are Raieane Donaldson, Lynda McMullen, Sandy Trost, Barbara Fowlkes, Connie Rickhoff, Beverley Hudson. 0 Excitement and tension mount as East nears another victory. Doing their parts to make sure East is the school that leads are the friendly cafeteria per- sonnel and custodians. Many students look for- ward to the noon-hour break which brings the nutritious lunches in the fourth floor cafeteria. They find the custodians a great aid in keeping the building clean. Serving East As attendance secretary, Mrs. Vivian Artus issues an average of 55 admit slips each day. During the flu epidemic the number tripled.
