FI 3' C m l.Tl'l0UGH this is but the second year of the Hi-E Club's existence at East High School, we f'eel that it has already benefited the school in many ways. At the beginning of the year the members realized that the club needed more cooperation with the school for it to accomplish its purpose, which is to serve the school at all times in all ways. ' ana 1-'P+ all With the addition of new members who were willing to work for their school we were able to do this. The number of standing committees was enlarged, which made il possible for us to have a greater scope for our work. We had closer cooperation through weekly reports made to Mr. Lyon and speeches made in home rooms about the necessary precautions needed to keep the school in proper condition. 3 3 EO EO El! if EOBE' P+ 4 5 We do not say that the t'ellows in the club have reached any state of per- fection, nor do we claim to be better than any other club.
